Political columnist Bill Longworth has learned from an authoritative source Friday night that Liberals intend to parachute in a Crown Attorney from Richmond Hill as Oshawa'a Federal Liberal Candidate. If this indicates the state of readiness of the Liberal Party in Oshawa and across the country, Longworth says they are in for a rude awakening. No major party has parachuted a candidate into Oshawa in living memory and Longworth speculates that the Oshawa voters will show their distain for this action on election day.
